system integrity analysis
Our systems integrity investigations are designed to determine whether any inappropriate use of a client's IT assets might be symptomatic of a more serious problem, of the sort that could expose the organisation to additional operational or financial damage, security breaches, or bad publicity. They may also provide technical support to clients involved in disputes arising from these incidents. One organisation asked us to investigate the cause of repeated, mysterious system failures that had been blighting interfaces with their clients' systems over a period of six months, costing the company hundreds of thousands of pounds and damaging its reputation. Our investigation unmasked the culprit: a disgruntled employee who was sabotaging the systems every time he was reprimanded.

These forensic investigations have revealed a disturbing list of covert activities, including cases of staff using company equipment to access pornography; of confidential company information being leaked to the media; of staff selling employee and client lists to a competitor company; criminal activities including money laundering; and staff using the company's computers to run their own businesses.
