We can provide organisations with all the technical support they need to correct system problems that may have contributed to, or been the result of, security breaches or inappropriate use incidents; or to gather evidence if the client wishes to pursue legal proceedings.

We have years of experience in piecing together the events leading up to a security breach, assessing the damage caused, and determining whether or not a compromised system has been used to attack other internal or external targets. Context consultants also bring expert knowledge to the complex task of gathering legal evidence from computer systems while remaining in compliance with the ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) approved guidelines on data collection, breach of which could render technical evidence inadmissible. We have experience of being called upon as expert witnesses in electronic fraud court cases, and we also work with associate consultants who have close links with law enforcement agencies.
